Beldi glass is one of Morocco’s most iconic handcrafted objects. The word “Beldi” means traditional or authentic in Moroccan Arabic, and these glasses truly represent the spirit of traditional Moroccan craftsmanship.

Unlike mass-produced glassware, Beldi glasses are mouth-blown by skilled artisans using recycled glass. This gives each piece its slightly irregular shape, tiny bubbles, and unique character.

Made From Recycled Glass

Our Beldi glassware is produced using 100% recycled glass, making it both beautiful and environmentally responsible.

The recycled glass is melted in traditional furnaces and then blown by experienced glassmakers. This process gives the glasses their distinctive look — slightly wavy surfaces, organic shapes, and a natural feel in the hand.

Because the material is recycled, the colour can vary slightly from batch to batch, adding to the authenticity of each piece.
