Howea forsteriana, the Kentia palm, thatch palm or palm court palm, is a species of flowering plant in the palm family, Arecaceae, endemic to Lord Howe Island in Australia. It is also widely grown on Norfolk Island. It is a relatively slow-growing palm, eventually growing up to 10 m tall by 6 m wide

To avoid tips drying out and turning brown, mist regularly or place in a high humid environment away from frequent traffic. A gentle grooming! Dust (or shower) from time-to-time and remove any dead stems, cutting close to the trunk. Brown tips can be trimmed if desired, but avoid cutting into any green foliage.
